An animated family feature based on the book by Paul Brown, The Boy Who Switched Off The Sun follows Marcel, a young boy who decides to switch off the Sun so he can enjoy his ice cream without it melting. What begins as a wonderfully simple idea soon has enormous consequences, as Marcel discovers that turning off the Sun means plunging the world into darkness and freezing temperatures.

Heading up the development team, I've helped adapt the original story for feature film, expanding Marcel's adventure and raising the stakes as he comes to understand the consequences of his actions. I've also overseen the visual development of the project to date and directed the teaser trailer.

The feature is being produced by Fourth Wall Entertainment and is currently in development.
